I am the middle child of three boys, with incredibly loving parents. I grew up in Mission Viejo, CA. and moved to San Luis Obispo for college. This is where God radically changed my mind about him and this life. My plans were to enter into sports medicine, but God had other plans. Today I am a pastor at Evangelical Free Church of Diamond Bar where I get to do what I love – teach and disciple college/post-college students. My other passions are Ultimate Frisbee, surfing, and reading. I have never been married, but it is through this prolonged journey of singleness that God has taught me what it means for His grace to be sufficient.

In May of 2008, he accepted the call to serve as intern to the High School ministry at Grace Brethren Church, Long Beach. He has also been involved in helping foster care children in both Orange County and Los Angeles County. David has contributed to a DVD series entitled Deeper Connections, a series that “connects the Bible to life.” David and his wife, Alyssa, live in Long Beach, CA.
Haig Darakjian - Junior High

My name is Haig. I grew up attending UACC and I went to almost every Camp AREV retreat that I could. I was raised in a Christian family and I attended Merdinian and Sahag-Mesrob, both Armenian Christian schools. Even though I grew up in a Christian community, God worked powerfully in my life to begin a genuine relationship with me when I was in high school. I really began to love Him then. When I was at UC San Diego, God called me to serve him as a pastor. So I began my studies at Talbot School of Theology. I currently love working as a youth leader at UACC and I can’t wait to graduate in May so I can serve God full time. He is worthy!
Trina Bahadourian - Juniors
G’day! It’s a pleasure to meet you… My life began in 1983 in the wonderful land Down Under (aka. Sydney, Australia). In 2008 I moved from there to Los Angeles after a LONG distance relationship to marry Aren Bahadourian who is a huge blessing to me from God. Since accepting Christ as a child I feel God continues to burden my heart more and more to serve him among children and teens. One of the main experiences that confirmed God’s leading to ministering to children was the amazing way God opened doors for me to spend three months in Switzerland in 2004 with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and participate in their Training Institute. Currently I serve in youth ministry at our church and work at Living Well a Pregnancy Crisis Center in Pasadena where God is teaching me I need Him every hour. Please pray that God would prepare all our hearts and do His work in my own heart as I join you at camp. I look forward to meeting you there! - Trina
