Summer 2010: Meet Our High School Speaker
As hard as we tried, we weren't able to get any of the 1st 15 speakers we asked to come for High School camp to say yes. This meant that for our brochures, it looked as if there wasn't going to be a speaker! BUT... sometimes it's worth the wait.
We are very excited to have Ryan Low coming up to speak to the High School group. You can read more about Ryan below. We look forward to seeing you there!
Ryan Low: High School

Ryan Low has served for the last nine years as a Resident director at Biola University. Before that he was a youth pastor for eight years. During this time he has seen God build in him a passion for seeing lives changed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. To him, there is nothing more amazing than seeing people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior and then to be on the journey with him as their lives are given meaning, purpose, and they are filled with his power to make an incredible impact for the kingdom of God. Ryan has been married for twelve years to Alyssa Low and is father of two beautiful children: Emily and William.

Winter Ends Summer Begins
We recently ended our summer camp program at Camp AREV. We really enjoyed the time we spent with campers this winter. Whether it was the great fellowship & learning from College camp, the awesome conversations that went on with the High Schoolers, the games we played with the Junior Highers, or running in the freshly falling snow with the Juniors, our time was blessed. It is a great priviledge to work with these young people and to watch how the Lord works in their lives through the staff.
I am so excited to think what this summer will hold! There are many opportunities to make a great camp session. I wonder who out there will be involved and in what ways people will see the Lord has given them so much that they can bless camp through! I can't wait to see what campers will attend our camps, and who will be changed forever as a result of something they learn.
Be praying for us as we get ready for the things to come, and I hope you will find a way to be involved with the camp preparations yourself! Please e-mail us with ideas, or comments.
